Have any improvements been made to the kits?
Yes. New options are available like upgraded front and side splitter package, upgraded center console, and other commercially available items digital dash, 360 cameras, and heads up displays for improved driver experience.

How do I order a Vaydor Body Kit?
First, go to the Pre-Order page and complete your information to be entered into our system, then Reserve your production date.
How long will it take to get the kit once I order it?
Typical lead time to complete the manufacturing of the kit is approximately 4-6 weeks from receipt of order.
What are the shipping options for the Vaydor Body Kits?
Carolina Vaydor will provide and manage discounted shipping options (domestic and international), or you can pick up the kit in-person from the factory yourself.
Does the kit come with a build guide?
Yes. We are publishing a build guide to provide guidance through each primary phase of your build and will provide access to it at time of order.
Does the kit come painted?
No. The kit comes with a white gel coat that will need to be properly sanded, primed, and painted once general assembly of the kit is complete.
Can I use any car other than the Infinity G35 coupe for the donor?
Not recommended. While the kit is made for a G35 Coupe (or Japanese market version Nissan 350GT) model years 2003-2007, we recommend 2004-2007 for higher reliability of the vehicle. We also do not recommend using the G35 Sedan, however some highly experienced builders have had success doing so.
Do the wheels require spacers?
No. The Amani-Forged wheels are 3-piece forged wheels with proper offsets to allow bolt-on fit with a Vaydor with no spacers required! Lower quality wheels with improper offsets may require spacers, and are not recommended. Years ago builds may have required spacers before Amani-Forged spec’d the new offsets for Vaydor. Not anymore.
Can I upgrade the engine performance?
Yes. Most builders choose to either add supercharger, turbos, or even engine swap with LS, 2JZ, or LT engines.
How long does it take to complete the build?
Experience and manpower dependent. It really depends on the experience level of the builder and man hours invested per week. The most experienced builders have been known to complete a build in 3-4 months, while someone working on it part time will obviously take longer.
What is the typical out of pocket cost to build a Vaydor myself?
Varies depending on extent of DIY, hired help, and features. Some home builders have been known to finish a base Vaydor build for approximately $40K total out of pocket cost. However, this cost can vary greatly depending the builder’s discretion in adding improvements and extras. This estimate does not include any hired third party labor or performance upgrades.
Can I pay someone to complete the build for me?
Yes. There are several options available if you do not want to build it yourself.
Rough Install: You provide the G35 donor we do the full donor tear down then build the kit onto the donor car so it is ready for you to finish body work, prep, paint, sealing, accessories, and other aesthetic details. (Rough install coupe: $25K plus cost of the kit; Rough install roadster convertible: $30K plus cost of the kit)
Full custom install: Show ready base Vaydor, built to your color spec (Coupe: $115K, Hard-top convertible $120K). Base Vaydor complete build does not include engine swaps or performance upgrades. Time to complete ~ 8-12 months.
